3D Chess modeled in 3D Max

Project on lighting for a 3D class. lol not the best piece of chess board but in 2000, it was impressive.

The interface is a bit yucky but once you get used to it, it is pretty cool.
And my favorite.... free. hehehehehehehe
Comment by OlegT 2010/08/29 08:33:19 AM So does rQueen take bishop or wBisjop take rook? :) Indeed, for 2000 this was great work, what was it Max version 3? I only started to dabble with 3ds Max Studio 4 & Autocad when business called for it, but I quickly learned that 3D design is a full-time commitment especially if you want to move past modeling to animation and scripting. Sadly, life took me in another direction, however, I am still very interested in the subject and continue modeling as a hobby. Previous Page
